Privacy Notice

This notice explains what information is collected when you use Luthiençia: Interactive Biography (the "Site"), how that information is used, who it's shared with, and the choices available to you. The Site is operated personally by Luthiençia Baptiste ("Luthiençia," "she," or "we").

1. Scope

This notice covers the Site at this domain and any subdomains used to deliver the interactive biography experience. It does not cover third-party sites that Luthiençia links to (for example luthiencia.com, belnes.com, ayiti.com, space.tickets, Medium, YouTube, Instagram, or LinkedIn), which have their own policies.

2. Chats are not private

Conversations you have with the AI are recorded and may be reviewed by Luthiençia. Please do not share confidential, sensitive, or personally identifying information with the assistant. Treat anything you type as if it could be retained and read.

3. Information collected

The Site collects the following categories of information:

  • Chat content. The messages you send to the assistant, the assistant's responses, and timestamps.
  • Technical data. Standard request metadata sent by your browser, such as IP address, user agent, language preference, referring page, and approximate region inferred from the IP address.
  • Usage data. Pages visited on the Site, links clicked, errors encountered, and basic performance metrics.
  • Cookies and local storage. Small pieces of data stored in your browser to keep the Site working (for example, remembering UI preferences and maintaining a chat session). The Site does not use third-party advertising cookies.

The Site does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email, address, phone number, or payment information. If you voluntarily type any of those into the chat, they become part of the chat content described above.

4. How information is used

  • To generate answers to your questions in the moment.
  • To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Site and the assistant's responses over time.
  • To understand what visitors are curious about, in the aggregate, so the biography content can be improved.
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, or violations of the Terms of Use.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

5. Legal bases (for visitors in the EEA / UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, processing is based on: (a) legitimate interests in operating and improving a personal biography site and keeping it secure; (b) your consent, which you give by choosing to send a message to the assistant; and (c) legal obligations where applicable.

6. Sharing and service providers

The Site uses a small number of service providers that process data on Luthiençia's behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations:

  • AI model provider. Your messages are transmitted to the AI model that powers the assistant in order to generate responses.
  • Hosting and infrastructure. Cloud providers that run the Site's servers, databases, and content delivery.
  • Analytics and error monitoring. Tools used to measure traffic and diagnose problems.

Luthiençia does not sell personal information and does not share it with advertisers.

7. International transfers

The providers above may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the Site, you understand that your information may be transferred outside your country of residence.

8. Retention

Chat content and technical logs are retained for as long as needed for the purposes described above, and then deleted or aggregated. You may request deletion of identifiable content you submitted by contacting Luthiençia (see Section 11).

9. Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information on the Site. No system is perfectly secure; please use your judgment about what to share.

10. Your choices and rights

  • Don't send it. The simplest control is to avoid typing anything you don't want recorded.
  • Access, correction, deletion. Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Cookies. You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Some parts of the Site may not work as well if you do.

12. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and Luthiençia does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the Site, please contact Luthiençia so it can be removed.

13. Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
